Christmas 2011

During December I had a chance to visit Temple Square with my family.

During December we were able to attend a Christmas party for my Dads side of the family. It was held at my parents church so the kids had a blast with all the space to play in. For dinner we had roast beef with au jus. while we were eating Gracie asked my sister Shelly if she could have some of her root beer (aka au jus). After Gracie had a drink we asked her what it tasted like, she told us it tasted like steak. If that wasn't funny enough my sister Lexi also thought the au jus was root beer.

This year we had a great Christmas. We started the morning off opening presents at our house. We had a fun time watching Gracie she really enjoyed presents this year. Afterwards we attended church. I played for the ward choir and the primary, Gracie sang with them (even though shes not quite old enough). It was a great program with great Christmas messages and wonderful music. After church we went to my parents house for some lunch. Afterwards we went to Grandma Carter's house to visit. We had a great day my only regret is not getting more pictures.

So funny story about this picture. I bought Gracie a U of U cheer leader outfit as a joke and gave it to her while we were at my parents house so Nate wouldn't know who gave it to her. She loved it, but Nate wasn't very happy about it (Gracie tells us she cheers for the U) so my Dad pulled out a BYU cheer leader outfit for her and now she can root for both teams.
